We had been invited several times by Anthony's aunt and uncle to come stay with them in Jamaica. So we finally made that a reality this month. We left on January 24th and stayed through February 1st. It was a wonderful trip and we were truly thankful to have an "insider" showing us around. We stayed in Anthony's aunt LaRonda's beautiful home in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica and each day she took us out to explore a different attraction/area of the island. Some of our highlights included: Black River Crocodile tour, Jamaica Zoo, Treasure beach, Appleton rum tour, YS Falls, Negril- 7 mile beach. It was quite wonderful to leave the freezing cold of MN, but difficult to return to.

Christmas 2012

We hosted an early Christmas at our house with my family. We had our traditional Christmas Eve appetizers and opened presents from each other that night. I started a new tradition with Ethan this year, making homemade cinnamon rolls. (they turned out great!) We have two new little cousins in the mix for Ethan this Christmas, Aiden and Eli. Anthony, Ethan and I enjoyed a quiet Christmas day just the three of us.
