ECFE class

Today Ethan went to his first ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) class in Maple Grove. I was a great time! There were a lot of toddlers to play with and fun projects to try. We look forward to these on Saturday mornings as a way to get out of the house and meet new people :)

2010 is off to a great start for the Holloway Family! After a very cold first week we are so happy to get out and about in this "warm" weather. We used the cold weather to stay cozy and cooped up with some great movies and home projects. I can't wait to post some pictures of our latest project. I love looking through the pottery barn catalog for ideas and then finding/making those things for a lot less money. Well I had my eye on this linen-covered pegboard for over our office desk and realized that Anthony and I could make it quite easily. We are in the process of getting it hung and I will post pictures soon!

happy holidays

Merry Christmas everyone!
This year Anthony and I hosted Christmas at our house. We went out early Wednesday and did all of our grocery shopping, and with the impending snow storm weren't sure our family would arrive. Happily the Krebs clan made it safely on Christmas Eve and we enjoyed appetizers, drinks and good company. Ethan got to open one present on Christmas Eve and it was a new book: "If You Take a Mouse To The Movies" (one of mommy's favorites) and a stuffed mouse to go with it.
On Christmas day we went outside to test out Ethan's new sled. He loved being pulled around in it by "Papa." We played in the snow for a bit and then came in to get lunch ready.

Ethan's first birthday was so much fun. We have had such an amazing year watching him change and grow. It was a perfect way to celebrate this milestone. Thank you everyone for making his special day so wonderful!
