An 'egg'cellent weekend

This weekend we hosted Easter dinner at our house. Ethan enjoyed spending time with Grandma and Grandpa Krebs as well as Uncle Derek and Bryant. (Anthony and I enjoyed their visit as well :) 

Ethan has definitely learned who his parents are and lets us know that he is not happy when we leave a room anymore. He has also starting reaching out or lean to one of us as the other one is holding him. This of course melts our heart :) He also absolutely loves being read to, and this will soothe him to no end. Our current faves: The Pigeon Has Feelings Too, Daddy Kisses, and Brown Bear Brown Bear. Ethan even attended his first story-time at the library and did quite well. He was a little jealous of all the walkers and crawlers though because there were much cooler toys for them- soon enough right? :)

We are so ready for some Spring weather to stick around! Ethan just loves getting outside for walks in his stroller. (Mommy enjoys the exercise as well!)  My preschoolers were so confused this week with the "It's Spring!" theme in our classroom and the snow falling outside... 

Anthony and I are looking forward to catching up on some great movies that we missed in theaters (for good reason ;) that come out this week. I really want to see "Marley and Me" and "7 pounds" and I also want Anthony to see "Slumdog Millionaire." I absolutely loved that movie, and highly recommend it to everyone.

Ethan had his 4 month check-up today. He is now 26.25 inches long and 15.2 pounds! I cannot believe how big he is getting. Unfortunately Ethan also needed to get a shot at this appointment. Talk about the look of, "What in the world did you just let them do to me mom!" I do not look forward to the many more of these we have left...

We took Ethan to get his pictures taken this past weekend and had a great time. It was very hard to narrow down which poses we wanted, but we were finally able to chose our favorites. Anthony had a really difficult time passing up one photo in particular where Ethan had a very mischievous look :)  Ethan is also 4 months old today and we can't believe how fast the time has flown by! I know that everyone tells you that but its just one of those things you don't believe until you live it. Ethan is a rolling machine these days and also babbling up a storm-- we just love watching him grow & learn everyday!
